Krypt User Guide.
Private vaults.
Offline by design.
Krypt is an offline personal vault designed to store sensitive information securely on your device — including passwords, notes, files, PDFs, photos, scans, and private records.
Your vault contents stay local to your iPhone. Krypt cannot recover forgotten PINs, restore deleted content, or access your private vault.
This guide explains how to set up the app, unlock your vault, use the real and decoy vaults, add content, and manage your data safely.
First launch.
When you open Krypt for the first time, set up your primary PIN, optionally enable Face ID or Touch ID, and create a decoy PIN if you want to use a secondary decoy vault.
Your PIN is required to access the vault. Krypt does not store or recover your PIN.
Use a PIN, Face ID,
or Touch ID.
Real vault and
decoy vault.
The decoy vault is designed for privacy in sensitive situations. You can enable or disable decoy behaviour in Settings.
