Before You Contact Support
Please note:
- Krypt stores your data locally on your device.
- We do not have access to your vault contents.
- We cannot recover lost data, forgotten PINs, deleted content, or missing backup passwords.
- Please do not send passwords, private files, vault exports, or sensitive vault content by email.
Common Questions
I forgot my PIN
Krypt does not store or have access to your PIN. If you forget your PIN, your vault cannot be recovered by us.
Can you restore my data?
No. Krypt does not store your data on external servers. Recovery is only possible if you have your own usable backup.
Backup and restore
Krypt supports encrypted backups that you control. Backup files are not uploaded to our servers and remain your responsibility to store safely.
Payments and subscriptions
All purchases are handled by Apple. To manage or cancel a subscription, go to:
Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
For billing issues, refunds, or subscription problems, contact Apple Support.
Face ID or biometric issues
Krypt uses your device’s built-in biometric authentication. If Face ID or Touch ID is not working, check your device settings and make sure biometric unlock is enabled for Krypt where applicable.
Privacy
Krypt is designed with privacy in mind:
- Your data is stored locally on your device.
- We do not access or store your vault contents.
- We do not sell or share your data for advertising.
- Krypt is designed to work without cloud sync, accounts, or servers.
